Summer has officially arrived, and Anoka County Library is kicking things off with Summer Adventures – Game On!, a reading challenge designed for all ages. From now through August 15, families can dive into books, explore activities, attend special events, and earn exciting prizes along the way. Whether you have toddlers, teens, or you’re joining in as an adult, this challenge brings the perfect mix of fun and motivation to keep everyone reading all summer long.

Summer Kickoff Event: F1RST Wrestling at Northtown Library

The season starts with a high‑energy celebration you won’t want to miss.

Bring your lawn chair, sunscreen, and your loudest cheers for an outdoor afternoon with F1RST Wrestling. This free family event is open to all ages and is the perfect way to launch your summer reading journey.

How to Join the Summer Reading Challenge

Getting started is simple:

Once registered, participants can earn digital badges for:
