The Hopkins Raspberry Festival returns for its 92nd year, bringing five days of food, music, art, family fun, and beloved hometown traditions. Whether you’re a long‑time festival fan or joining for the first time, this weekend is packed with activities for all ages.

Golden Raspberry Hunt
The annual Golden Raspberry Hunt kicks off Wednesday, July 15 at 8:00 a.m. Clues will be posted daily on the festival website and social media.
Key rules include:
• Hidden on public property within Hopkins city limits
• Outdoors, in an open area, never buried
• Not placed higher than six feet
• No property damage allowed during the search
• Past winners and immediate family are ineligible for five years
Winners will be announced Saturday on the Raspberry Jam main stage at Central Park.
Marketplace Fair – Rain or Shine
Stroll Mainstreet between 6th and 14th Avenues to explore vendors, artists, local businesses, crafts, clothing, woodwork, food, and beverages. This free event is held rain or shine—come early and shop local!
Grande Day Parade – Sunday, July 19 at 1:00 p.m.
The festival culminates with the iconic Grande Day Parade on Mainstreet, featuring marching bands, visiting royalty, local organizations, and a celebratory flyover. The parade begins at 5th Avenue and travels west to 17th Avenue. Bring your family, cheer on your neighbors, and enjoy this Hopkins tradition.

Laun E. Anderson Kids Fishing Event
Shady Oak Lake – Wednesday, July 15 at 9:00 a.m.
Kids can enjoy complimentary fishing poles and a morning of fun in honor of Hopkins Police Officer Laun E. Anderson.
Wine Walk – July 15 & 16, 4:00–9:00 p.m.
Pick up a punch card and sip your way through participating Hopkins restaurants: Bear Cave Brewing, Pink Ivy Kitchen & Bar, The Vine Room, and K’kinaco. Enjoy featured drinks, snacks, and a raffle entry when you complete your card.
Berrylicious Bash – Hopkins Activity Center – Wednesday, July 15
• Largest Raspberry Contest – 5:00 p.m.
• Raspberry Dessert Contest – 5:30 p.m.
• Pie Eating Contest – 6:00 p.m.
With prizes from local businesses, this event is a sweet celebration of Hopkins community spirit.
The Sunset Series – Thursday, July 16 at 7:00 p.m.
Enjoy a free outdoor concert at Downtown Park. Bring blankets or lawn chairs and relax under the summer sky.
Hopkins Scavenger Hunt – July 15–17
Explore Hopkins through missions released daily via the Goosechase App. Earn points, win raffle prizes, and compete for the Grand Prize—a ride in a classic car during the Grande Day Parade.
Movie Nite at Maetzold Field – Friday, July 17 at 9:00 p.m.
Watch Angels in the Outfield under the stars. Arrive early for a cycling class hosted by Star Cycle Hopkins.
Chalk Art at The Artery – Saturday, July 18 at 8:00 a.m.
Bring your creativity and decorate Mainstreet sidewalks. Chalk is provided, and a professional artist will join the fun.
