SALT Founder

SALT (by Sweat And Live Truth) was born from a season when God was calling me to something more. If you had asked me a few years ago if I’d be hosting faith and wellness events across Minnesota, I would have laughed.

As I approached my 40th birthday, I found myself in a season that many women can probably relate to. I had spent nearly two decades building a career in corporate marketing, an amazing husband, three wonderful kids, a dog, and so much to be grateful for.

Yet I also felt like something was missing. I was wrestling with a lack of purpose and wondering if God had something more for me.

I grew up Catholic, where faith was an important part of life. For me, though, it mostly meant going to church on Sundays and keeping my prayer life very private.

As I became a mom, I longed to integrate faith more into my everyday life. My husband gifted me a Bible, and I found myself reading it regularly, praying more than ever, and asking God to show me what He wanted for my life.

Many of the deepest friendships I was building through motherhood had one thing in common—they were rooted in faith. I realized how life-giving it was to be surrounded by women who encouraged one another spiritually, and I wanted more of that.

Then one day, while reading Scripture, I came across Luke 14:34:

“Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?”

Those words seemed to jump off the page. I can’t fully explain it, but I felt God was asking me to do something with them.

With nearly two decades in corporate marketing, I had spent my career helping other brands tell their stories. Most of that work happened behind the scenes, so the idea of creating something from the ground up felt both exciting and intimidating.

As God continued to stir this calling in my heart, I realized He had been preparing me all along. He used the skills and passions He had cultivated in me over the years to bring the vision for SALT (by Sweat And Live Truth) to life.

At first, I thought I was simply building a brand. Soon, I realized I was creating a platform to serve others. Along the way, God was also growing me—stretching my faith and leading me far outside of my comfort zone.

Today, SALT creates spaces where women can move their bodies, grow in their faith, and build authentic relationships. Whether someone has attended church their whole life or is simply curious about faith, everyone is welcome.

One thing that’s especially important to me is that SALT isn’t about replacing the local church. We believe deeply in the value of being rooted in a church community, and we’re grateful to partner with churches, local parks, studios, and community spaces. Our mission is simply to create another place where believers can come together, encourage one another, and grow in both faith and wellness—without being separated by denominational walls.

None of this would be possible without our incredible instructors and the small businesses we partner with. I love connecting people, so one of my greatest joys is watching friendships form between women who may have never crossed paths otherwise. Seeing women worship together, move together, and build genuine community is exactly why SALT exists.

Since launching in March 2025, we’ve hosted more than a dozen faith and wellness experiences throughout the west metro, and we’re excited to continue growing. Our fall calendar is already full, and we’re prayerfully expanding into new communities across Minnesota.

If this mission resonates with you, I’d love to welcome you to a SALT event. Whether you’re looking to grow in your faith, move your body, or simply connect with other women, there’s a place for you.
