Children’s Theatre Company (CTC) is proud to present THE WIZARD OF OZ  presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Tams-Witmark LLC.www.concordtheatricals.com

It’s not every day that a wild tornado whizzes right over your head, taking the house and the whole farm with it! Or that the entire world magically shifts from black and white to technicolor right before your very eyes. But there’s nothing everyday about a shoe-obsessed witch, flying monkeys, or a yellow brick road, either. Join Dorothy, her three oh-so-curious friends, and Toto (played by a real dog!) in this grand spectacle, featuring songs you know and love from the classic film!

The Wizard of Oz will run from April 21, 2026, – June 14th, 2026 on the UnitedHealth Group Stage. Opening night is Friday, April 24th, 2026, at 7pm.

For Younger Children
The Wizard of Oz, a beloved musical based on the classic motion picture, is filled with magic, music, and heart—but it also includes theatrical moments that may feel intense or frightening for very young or sensitive children. The tornado scene, for example, uses sound, lighting, and projection effects that can be loud or overwhelming. The Wicked Witch of the West makes sudden entrances with smoke and lights and delivers threats that may seem scary to some children. Flying monkeys and guards add to the suspense, and emotional moments—such as Dorothy’s separation from her family or her tearful goodbyes—may be moving or confusing for younger viewers.

For Sensory-Sensitive Guests
If someone in your group is sensory-sensitive, we recommend attending a sensory-friendly performance with adjusted lighting and sound. At all performances, you’re welcome to request noise-cancelling headphones or earplugs or take a break in our quiet room.
